Greetings from Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Kings Engineering College, we are inviting you to participate in the Hackathon '23

Event Rules:
It is important that all members of the team attend the event.
Any project that violates the Code of Conduct is prohibited.
For their project, participants must bring their own components. Students who have been accepted into the programme are required to bring their college IDs, laptops, chargers, and extension cords if necessary.
There will be internet access. In case of a network outage, we advise you to bring your own recharged Data Card.
For their projects, team members can make use of libraries, frameworks, or open-source code. It is against the spirit of the guidelines and not allowed to work on a project before an event and then open-source the code merely for the purpose of using the code at that event.
During the Hackathon, the Juries will provide an enhancement i.e., new functionality, which has to be completed before the end of the event.

Adding new features to existing projects is allowed. In determining the winners, judges will take into account any new functionality introduced or new features added during the Hackathon along with enhancement instructed by juries
Timings:
Registration begins at 08:00 AM (28/04/2023)
Inauguration at 09:30 AM (28/04/2023)
Hackathon (28/04/2023, 10:00 AM - 29/04/2023, 10:00 AM)
Project Demonstration and Final Evaluation at 10:00 AM (29/04/2023)
Closing Ceremony & Prize Distribution at 11:00 AM (29/04/2023)
Venue:
Kings Engineering College, Irungattukotttai, Sriperumbudur, Chennai-602117
The teams are expected to be at the venue by 7.45 AM (28/04/2023)for Registration.
College premises are only accessible to team members who have registered.
Registration Fees:
Rs.1600/- per team (This includes Food and Accommodation for Refreshment)
The shortlisted teams will receive payment details via email.
Prizes:
The cash prizes will be given to the top two teams.
1st Prize-20000 INR
2nd Prize-15000 INR
All the participants will be provided with Certificates.
